Executive summary
Net profit for Q2FY26 reached INR 654 crores, up 18.3% YoY, with operating profit at INR 1,296 crores, up 32.9% YoY; consolidated net profit for Q2FY26 was ₹66,431 lakhs.
Advances grew 6.4% YoY to INR 2,50,212 crores, deposits up 6.9% YoY to INR 2,96,276 crores, and retail/branch banking deposits up 13.7% YoY.
CASA ratio improved to 33.7%, with retail CASA at 39.6%.
SMBC became the largest shareholder with a 24.2% stake, and two SMBC nominee directors joined the board.
Credit rating upgraded to AA- by all domestic agencies, highest since March 2020.
Financial highlights
Net Interest Income for Q2FY26 was INR 2,301 crores, up 4.6% YoY; Non-Interest Income rose 16.9% YoY to INR 1,644 crores.
Cost-to-income ratio remained flat at 67.1%; operating expenses up 0.6% YoY and down 4.2% QoQ.
Provision coverage ratio improved to 81%; GNPA at 1.6%, NNPA at 0.3%.
Return on Assets (annualized) at 0.6% for Q2FY26; ROA for H1 at 0.7%.
Capital adequacy ratio (Basel III) stood at 15.0% as of September 30, 2025.
