Q2 2026 sales declined to €4.4 billion from €4.9 billion year-over-year, mainly due to divestitures, but adjusted EBIT rose to €570 million (12.9% margin) from €422 million (9.6% margin), driven by strong Tires performance and favorable price/mix.

Financial highlights

ContiTech sales fell to €1.1 billion, with adjusted EBIT margin at 6.9% (down from 8.0%), supported by efficiency measures despite weak market.
Group leverage ratio improved to 2.0 (Q2 2026), equity ratio rose to 25.0% (from 14.6%).
Net indebtedness decreased to €5,514 million from €6,316 million year-over-year.
Adjusted free cash flow from continuing operations improved to €142 million (PY: -€252 million).
