Executive summary
Total business grew 14.43% year-over-year to INR 737,938 crore as of September 2025, with deposits up 13.40% and gross advances up 16.03%.
Net profit increased 32.86% year-over-year to INR 1,213 crore for Q2 FY 25-26, with half-year net profit at INR 2,382 crore.
Asset quality improved: Gross NPA reduced to 3.01% and Net NPA to 0.48% as of September 2025.
Capital adequacy ratio strengthened to 17.34% as of September 2025.
Board approved unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q2 and H1 FY2025-26, with a 2nd interim dividend of 2% per equity share.
Financial highlights
Total income grew 4.07% year-over-year to INR 10,250 crore; net interest income for Q2 FY 25-26 at INR 3,283 crore, down 3.72% year-over-year.
Operating profit for Q2 was INR 1,786 crore, down 17.51% year-over-year.
Provisions reduced by 54.23% year-over-year to INR 573 crore in Q2.
Non-interest income for the quarter at INR 1,507 crore, down 8.50% year-over-year.
Gross NPA ratio improved to 3.01% (standalone) and 3.02% (consolidated); Net NPA at 0.48% (standalone) and 0.49% (consolidated).
Outlook and guidance
FY 25-26 guidance: business growth 14-15%, deposit growth 10-12%, advances growth 14-16%.
CASA expected at 48% (+/-1%), NIM above 3%, Gross NPA below 3%, Net NPA below 0.45%.
ROA targeted above 1%, cost-to-income ratio below 56%.
Treasury expected to support income in coming quarters; digital initiatives to drive growth.
Management opted to continue with the existing corporate tax rate and is contesting MAT applicability.
