Executive summary
Unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q3 and nine months ended 31 December 2025 were reviewed and approved by the Board and Audit Committee on 12 February 2026.
Third interim dividend of ₹5.50 per equity share declared, with record date set for 18 February 2026 and payment by 13 March 2026.
BCCL, a subsidiary, was partially divested (10% stake) via stock exchange listing but remains a subsidiary.
Financial highlights
Consolidated revenue from operations for Q3 FY26 was ₹34,924.19 crore, up from ₹32,327.16 crore in Q2 FY26 and ₹26,909.23 crore in Q3 FY25.
Consolidated net profit for Q3 FY26 was ₹7,165.98 crore, compared to ₹4,262.64 crore in Q2 FY26 and ₹8,491.22 crore in Q3 FY25.
Total comprehensive income for Q3 FY26 was ₹7,307.13 crore.
Standalone net profit for Q3 FY26 was ₹4,872.17 crore, with total comprehensive income of ₹4,877.21 crore.
Basic and diluted EPS (consolidated) for Q3 FY26 was ₹11.61, and for nine months ended 31 December 2025 was ₹32.87.
Outlook and guidance
No material liability is expected from the new Labour Codes notified in November 2025; impact will be reassessed once rules are notified.
The GST rate on coal increased from 5% to 18% from September 2025, eliminating the inverted duty structure.
